If you were also obsessed with Chip's Challenge in the 90s, or like lateral-thinking puzzles, you will probably enjoy Baba Is You (also available on the Switch, apparently). I picked it up on impulse a few days ago, because I wanted a new puzzle game, and Steam recommended it to me, and I have been loving it.

It's a 'manipulate different types of objects to solve puzzles' game, like Chip's Challenge, but with the twist that you also manipulate the rules that govern the objects, changing their properties, or even what the objects are. It also doesn't rely on speed or quick reflexes (my least-favorite types of CC puzzles) - you have infinite undoes so you can try things out and then rewind or reset if it doesn't work.

That said if you don't like lateral-thinking puzzles, give it a skip, because aside from the levels that introduce various concepts, puzzles are not straightforward. Experienced puzzle nerds (like people who do MIT Mystery Hunt) would probably not call them hard, but to novice puzzlers they probably would be. I'm a mid-level puzzle-solver and these are about the right difficulty for me - I'm usually good with having to figure out one unexpected/outside-the-box step, but get frustrated if I have to chain together a bunch of them. However, if you wanna give it a go but could use some nudges, Baba Is Hint is nice because it gives hints but not full solutions, and lets you pick the level of specificity you want. The game has gone through some updates since it was last touched, so it's not completely up-to-date, but most of the levels are there.
