I always feel like I need to periodically post "I ATE'NT DEAD", Granny Weatherwax-style, so people know. Mostly I've been spending more time than usual on Discord, though with a side of 'having lots of feelings about danmei novels on Twitter'. I have somewhat fallen down the rabbithole of bookbinding/ficbinding, so there will probably be photos of some of that eventually, along with some home improvement projects I've finished and (eventually) Dragon*Con cosplay photos.

Indeed I've only read Golden Stage, I think. Very recommended. I've epub'ed Thousand Autumns and Peerless (and added the new extra to TYK, can send all of them if you want them) in the meantime. I'm currently reading some non-danmei things because they're always so....long. XD

Hmmm I think Mo Du is the main one I keep trying to convince people to read, but I know not everyone is down for an intense psychological thriller. I've read a few other older priest novels, and finally got around to reading Scum Villain, but mostly I've just been reading a looooot of fanfic. I should do a novel review roundup post or something though.

I have Mo Du on my list (and even my kindle) but....it's a 5+epilogue volume commitment, I'm currently not ready for that. (Peerless has 7, I'm also not ready for that, but making the files takes other brain areas than reading.)

SVSSS is not for me because there's the whole shifu (or shizun) and disciple thing, which is not a trope I enjoy. Which is also why I'm holding back on 2ha.

It's shorter than TGCF! But that isn't saying much XD

Yeah, I don't mind that trope but I know it's not for everyone. Honestly the existing complete translation isn't amazing, and it didn't really make me believe in the main ship? Like this is the first novel where I have come out and been like 'the CP is fine but I am more interested in this C-list ship over here'.
