More Guardian things
- Shen Wei and Zhao Yunlan have big switch energy, which I love. Like, to the point where I'm not sure who was originally written as the 'top' (though if forced to guess, I'd say Shen Wei). Leaving aside the 'are these tropes homophobic' argument (which is a can of worms I don't want to open), I find a lot of the strict top/bottom tropes just... boring, at this point in my life.
- I appreciate that our protagonists are actual grown-ups with relatable Boring Grown-Up Problems like 'keeping the apartment clean' and 'figuring out what to eat when you've spent all day working'.
- I also appreciate Zhao Yunlan's inability to sit on furniture normally (some spoilers in the images/text at that link). Again, extremely relatable.
- I am nearly done compiling this translation epub. I think I've got about fifteen chapters I still need to format the footnotes properly on, and then it's beautification and sending DMs asking for permission to share this. And I guess maybe trying to track down the secret 5th extra (is it porn? is that why it's secret? idk)

ZYL has his shit at least as together as I do, and while I'm constantly baffled that people trust me to be in charge of anything, I do have a Career(tm) and a mortgage and a car less than a decade old, so. My fridge is less of a nightmare only because I don't get takeout often and am very picky about what leftovers I'll eat and thus what leftovers get saved.
(You're one of the people who worked on the novel translation, yeah? Do you think people would be open to a nicely formatted epub with credits and whatnot? I'll just keep it for myself if not, but I really appreciated having a nice complete epub of TGCF to put on my ereader)

I'm sure an epub would be appreciated! We'd link it from our DWs (we being fangirlishness who is in charge of the project and myself), but we'd ask you to say that it's still a work in in progress, and to update it when we're done.
Does that sound good to you?

Sure, I can do that! Do you two have translations for 101-106 and the extras? I didn't see them in the google drive, so I pulled in stuff from foxghost and ineffablebfs just so I'd have a complete copy to read, but if they don't want their stuff shared like that/you'd prefer it only being your stuff, I can make a partial copy, too. I've got all the formatting done (which was mostly just making the chapter titles consistent, and making the translation notes on the unedited sections into proper linked footnotes, and then building a table of contents), so it's mostly just making a nice cover page at this point - I was thwarted last night by the fact that apparently I didn't reinstall all my font collection when I set up this laptop last summer, so I need to pull the backup folder off my desktop, heh.
