I'll make a real post eventually, some day, but for now, have a fun (and slightly sweary) history of CSS post from a blog I follow, which was a trip down memory lane for me. God, CSS3 is so *good*, y'all.

There were definitely moments of some slightly hysterical laughter on my part. Also the Dynamic Drive website is like being transported in time back to 2004.

I used to think I was bad at css, but now I think css actually used to be THAT bad.

It really kind of was, and also things we thought were good at the time turned out to not be. I have an archive of my old blog layouts and some of them... what the hell was I thinking

As someone whose web design experience is still probably somewhere in CSS 2.1, if I'm lucky, this was an interesting trip to go through.
