If you need a break from post-election stress, and don't mind subtitles (or really fake Russian accents in the dub, I guess), do yourself a favor and watch Yuri!!! On Ice AKA men's figure skating the anime AKA gay chicken on ice. It's charming and hilarious and gorgeous and somehow manages to get gayer every week. Share in this small ray of sunshine with me.

Early on I would have been like 'nah they're just playing with us' but at this point I think there's been more male-on-male affection than I've seen in anything that wasn't explicitly BL so... we'll see.

Yeah that was my thoughts by about episode three! There's quite the difference between reading into, e.g., all of Free! or Kuroko no Basuke, and, well, everything about Yuri On Ice so far, lolol.
