Someone should have told me the Vorkosigan novels were actually reasonable lengths - I had been putting them off because I didn’t want to get sucked into more Jacqueline Carey 800-page doorstop monstrositities. But I finished Shards of Honour in like five or six hours on Wednesday, and Barrayar yesterday afternoon.
Unsurprisingly I’m enjoying them immensely *g*

Seriously, the books I reread most are Shards/Barrayar and then Civil Campaign. I occasionally reread some of the others (particularly Memory and Komarr), but mostly I just waaaaaallow in Cordelia.
Someday I will, actually, manage to fucking write all the fic I have in my head about Ezar's wife. (She has a name in my head. Not so much in canon. :/)

YESSSS she's amazing. And then Aral pings my love of soldier-types with more honor than self-preservation instincts, so I was like 'I am 100% here for this'.

I knew I'd probably like them! But getting in to a big series is a little intimidating.
