Dear Yaoicon, please stop trying to guilt me into going to ToA.

I really do want to - it's Shoujocon, pretty much, and Shoujocon was my favorite little con ever. But I don't have $350 to drop on a plane ticket to San Mateo, and there are more people going who _don't_ want me to go than people who want me to go, versus Sakuracon, where I don't think there's anyone who doesn't want me to go.

And yes. This post is totally just me trying to justify my decisions to myself XD;

Aww, well that's ok. Especially if ya wanna avoid conflict with those who don't want ya to go. Though I think ya know my take on these sorts of things--if ya wanna go and can do so, then go; ya enjoy it for yourself, yes? Not anybody else :3

Perhaps next time, yeah? Lissa & I will most likely be going to every one XDDD; (Y-con hands down, though.)

And... what's Y-con doin'? Do they have more "Go to ToA!" things on their site? ^^; Ignore them unless you're able to make it, ya know? I hope you have fun at Sakuracon.

I'm definately going to Yaoicon - maybe by next year things'll have changed and I can do ToA, but at a small con, awkwardness would be unavoidable and I'd be unhappy all weekend :\ I'm bad at just brushing stuff off. Take lots of photos for me? The demise of Shoujocon saddened me, so I'd like to go to it's psuedo-replacement (Shoujocon, ironically, used to be nicknamed 'Yaoicon East' XD;)

And hey, do you guys do AX at all? I'd like to go to that if I can, although depends on job stuff or the summer.

They do, and in their mailing list e-mails, too. I'm like '...Noooooo ;.;'

Hm... We've never been. :x We've been thinking of it off and on, but we keep thinking, "That'd be a good 6~8 hour road trip :x" amongst other things. Mostly in relation to monetary things. I don't really know, so it's kinda up in the air if we do a Y/N kinda thing.

It's true. Shoujcon was totally the softcore version of Yaoicon XD;

A lot of my friends up here and in Cali go to AX every year - I'd like to, but...so expensive @.@

You could probably get cheap flights on Southwest, you know - they serve LAX and SeaTac. If not, I can get stuff signed for you if you want, though.
