Things I'd Like To Do Someday

-Tabletop RP
-See Rocky Horror, the whole she-bang (which means finding someone who's been to take me, I think)
-Learn Japanese
-Go clubbing
-Take part in real science - first year school labs = not cutting it here. (once I have some lab experience, ie, after first year labs are done, I am so volunteering to be a cleaning-bitch for someone in Microbi, because I really am that sad).
-Do something with my OCs, either fic or RP.
-Learn swordfighting.
-Become a better photographer.
-Have really fantastic sex.

WWU's showing Rocky Horror on Halloween! People are encouraged to dress up? Hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm......

[identity profile] justlikeyou.livejournal.com 2006-10-03 04:45 am (UTC)(link)
Yeah, I've never actually um....gone to see it before. I watched it in grade four at a Halloween party and got traumatized forever, I'm afraid. ^^;;;

[identity profile] riddled.livejournal.com 2006-10-03 05:17 am (UTC)(link)
I've seen it before, but I've never been to a live showing, but I really want to. Hm.

[identity profile] riddled.livejournal.com 2006-10-03 05:30 am (UTC)(link)
It'd prolly be relatively easy to find an artsy person who's been to it before :D I know a girl in my house who loves RHPS, and Jake's into it too, I think.

... but bugrit, it's this Saturday? Then I kinda definitely can't. Got a friend staying with me. :/ And I think if I took poor Dimitri to a live showing of RHPS he'd be...
.... traumatised, to say the least.

If you'd ever like, I'd be more then happy to help you along with your studies in Japanese. ^_^ And RP's are always go!

[identity profile] nerdraeg.livejournal.com 2006-10-03 03:57 am (UTC)(link)
Aw, now that you shouldn't do! The point of learning is you fumble with it first. If you really want to know it, honestly, the best way is to just start using it in your own head. Ganbatte yo! And no saying you suck at stuff. XD Or people will come hit you with wooden spoons. Which people? That I could not tell you. But I suddenly have a very sketchy mental image of Reno in an apron, brandishing an electro-mag-spoon. D< Beware of Spoon!

(Sorry, a bit too much surgar tonight, apparently...)

[identity profile] nerdraeg.livejournal.com 2006-10-03 04:11 am (UTC)(link)
I almost envy you that trait. It's the same for me, so when something -doesn't- come to me, it frustrates and obsesses to all ends. *headdesk*

You better! XD;

Apparently, you're now stuck with me spamming you... x_x'

[identity profile] nerdraeg.livejournal.com 2006-10-03 04:16 am (UTC)(link)
I lose more brain cells from it then is probably healthy! I think we ought to trade for a few weeks. That way, you'd learn Japanese... unfortunatly, probably sometime -after- you pulled all of your hair out.

Better then supermarket QUESTIONABLE CONTENT spam?

Even cosplayers need a break from the itchy mass of plastic twine that are our wigs every now and again! Free your scalp!

Oh, go. Shoo, shoo. Native speakers are really a -huge- help when it comes to that. Reading it in a book is all well and good, but you'll only really get it stuck up there in your head if you've had it spoken to you, and you've awkwardly stuttered it back a few times. Granted, you might feel foolish at first (I always do... especially now. I'm PITIFUL at German.), but your pride recovers. ^_^ It's worth it, Grasshopper!

Oh the wonders of signing in. ^^; *Fail'D*

Even Head and Shoulders, which bolsters me with its advertisements about healthy scalps, alas... only really cares about, ironically enough, heads and shoulders (knee and toes too, perhaps.)

But a bruised strawberry can still be used to make a crumble! Mesh in with all of the other 'bruised strawberries', and you'll find the end result will be better then what you expected! Ahah. ^^; Isn't that the POINT of learning a language? You're not supposed to know! If you'd like, I can at least teach you a few rudimentary first lines. As you’ve probably figured out, my schedule tonight isn’t exactly, ah, busy. ^^; *Gets back to CS2.*

Yowzah! How do you REMEMBER that many?! (Says the girl with 5...)

[identity profile] nerdraeg.livejournal.com 2006-10-03 05:19 am (UTC)(link)
Kidnap someone to do it for you. With cocoa butter oil!

*Laughs.* I think that's the price paid for trying to be symbolic and motivational at one in the morning. ^^; "Go forth! Be a strawberry crumble, young one!" ...I'll have to remember to baffle someone later with that. Someone said something to me that I found incredibly perceptive; "I don't enjoy my classes this year, because I'm one of the top in my class. I want to be surrounded by people who are smarter then I am; because then I'll really learn." Sounds like your classes lately haven't been setting you up with a real challenge either. C'mon; take a dive, go for it. ^_^ People who are 'way better then you' make for awesome teachers!

Gomen. x_x (I sort of do also, now that you mention it! *Forlorn*)

CS2 = Photoshop! ^_^ Still learning with it.

You're a Login Ninja...

And here I was all, 'Yesssss'... 'Alright, clearly, it's time to leave this person alone, as they are giving me sideways triangle eyes!' XD

You have no idea how jealous I am at the moment. While that's not -exactly- strawberries, and marshmallows aren't -exactly- whipped cream, I'm still wibbling at the knowledge that all I have downstairs are some over-ripe peaches.

I enjoy both. Demanding but erudite professors, and students who aren't air-headed enough that they can keep you engaged in debate. Academic achievement is one thing; sharing it, and knowing that other people are growing along with you is somehow more satisfied. And woot! Super persuasion skills, score! (Sticking Post-Its to your forehead is your friend!)

I didn't have any kind of PS for the longest time, and still managed to make relatively nice icons with Print Shop. I'm just getting used to the fancy-pants wonder that is CS2 for icons as well. If by foreign characters you mean 'writing in other languages' (I assume that's what you mean, but that's a just in case since otherwise I'm about to say something ragingly stupid), did you think of just installing a font pack? That's what I did. They're about 15 dollars.

Ninja-Goth? They sneak up behind you and kill you with bad emo poetry!

[identity profile] nerdraeg.livejournal.com 2006-10-03 06:10 am (UTC)(link)
Bacon-flavored chips... reminds me of school in the UK. Since the peaches didn't work out, and all this talk of Japan... I splurged by making miso-soup. Which has nothing to do with strawberries, and would probably go very badly with! (-Please- by real food. Oi. Seriously, woman, wooden spoons. A whole army of wooden spoons. Microwave popcorn constitutes a projectile, not food! =P)

That's my qualm with pre-med too. They run them right through the gamut of a bazillion classes, so they only have enough time to care about the final grade, rather then indulge in any actual instruction. I thought maybe veterinary science would be a nice deflection of that; science without the after bite or grade-grubbers. Mm, but life sciences sounds yummy; that's awesome. :D I hope you're loving it! (Post-It to someone else's forehead then!)

Mine is cracked too. XD Goth Ninja Thieves, then. And yes, it does! Mine did, at least. Eto... goodness, I'll have to go look for what the -name- of this program is. You could always cheat, find the kanji, and play with opacity to insert it into the icon? Like a texture.

I can help you with the sex part *smile*

GOD WE HAVE TO SEE RHPS NEXT YEAR.
