I have been seized by an overwhelming desire to play FF7 again, which is a bit odd coming in the middle of trying to pull together an essay about Horatio (I have a lot to say, I'm just having trouble pulling it all together). Maybe I'll go play in a bit, and hopefully will have better luck coming up with a name for my Turk XD; He's got most of a backstory and a personality, but no name ^^;

Also, to the people who I promised I'd send copies of FF7 - my install disk has disappeared, so I have to wait until Jon copies his to give to me. It will get done, I swear, but it may take a little while ^^;

You could call your essay Horatio: Might as Well Have Been Holding a Sign That Said "I am so gay for you, Hamlet!"

Well, my first essay-thing (we had to pick items that described a character and explain why XD;) included

" Most of the time, he refers to Hamlet as 'my lord' or 'my good lord', and once as 'sweet prince', even when they're the only two people in the room, placing himself below Hamlet, but also at the same time, laying some more intimate emotional claim to him, that he is the one to serve and protect Hamlet."

so I've probably damned myself already XD;;

Dude. Um. I wrote on the back of my Ophelia essay that Laertes had sister issues and Horatio and Hamlet should have eloped. God, my fangirlism knows no bounds.

And the conclusion of your essay can be "Horatio = GAY GAY GAY GAY GAY GAY HOMOSEXUAL GAY."
