The Grand Debate

So, among many other things I will blog about eventually (ie, tomorrow), I'm currently deciding which version of Sephiroth I want to do for my senior project before going wild buying and drafting stuff. It's down to Advent Children!Sephiroth and the default FF7 outfit.

Default FF7 has the advantage of not looking like a heroin addict and not having those weird and probably impossible to find buckles.

Advent Children has the advantage of not having leg-of-mutton sleeves (Dear Nomura, those haven't been in style since the 16th century) or crack-bangs, and shoulders that don't suffer from that CLAMP coat-hanger look.

Either way I get to make glove gaskets! Ah, crack FF designs are love.

Yes. Australia too, apparently. My friend in New Zealand has given me all sorts of neat little goodies you can't find around here as presents.

Well, Kefka was pre-FF7. So he's harder to compare - he does give me yet more proof in the 'clowns are scary' department, though. I thought Sin in FFX was an interesting concept, although that game had it's cheap Seph knock-off in Seymour.

Australia I couldn't find a durned thing, though didn't make it so far as New Zealand (and, admittedly, wasn't on the hunt for Doujinshi). So I'll just have to trust you on that one.

Clowns, despite what any dare devils may say, are indeed the apex of 'creepy in a bad way'. The face paint, the gross hair, the grinning, and the total visual rape of their outfits is overbearing, and ought to be avoided. //End Rant. Seymour, let's just say was Sephiroth Clone #21. XD He escaped, and co-starred in his own game, with Cloud rip-off, Tidus. And by Cloud rip-off, I mean the hair alone. If Tidus is what Cloud would have been like with lines, I'm glade Strife was the Trowa Barton of FF7.

Well, none of my goodies from Ammie were doujin, but there was merchandise that's hard to find around here.

Have you ever read any of the Discworld books? The Fool's Guild is scary, particularly it's head, Dr. Whiteface. *twitch* And yeah, Tidus totally has Cloud's hair (Although Sora in KH is worse - I forget who Skuld and I decided Cloud was having a love child with on that one. Vincent, maybe? We definitely decided KH Cloud was cheating on Seph with Vincent XD). He doesn't have the personality, though, and he's way straighter than Cloud. I kind of like him even if he is a gigantic loser XD

No! No, I haven't, and my soul breaks a little bit each time people bring up a book I haven't read. Especially this one, because I've been asked that before. Worth getting, much? - Probably Vincent, since the day before the filming of KH, Cloud seemed to have slept in. When he dressed for work, still in a sleepy daze, he accidentally slung on Vincent’s Torn Cape (c) and metal arm of oddness instead of his own garb, then made his way to the KH set. Evidence? I think so.

Sora is, by far, the biggest loser (maybe second to Zell) that Final Fantasy has ever created. XD I love him too, aside from his giant yellow shoes. Those are weapons, I tell ya.

Some FMA keychains and stickers I haven't seen at cons around here, and Roy's character CD, which are all very much love.

I think the explanation Skuld and I came up with was that Seph found out that Cloud was cheating on him, and fried him, leaving just the metal arm and cloak, which is why Cloud has them and Vincent isn't in KH. Riku is definately Cloud and Sephiroth's lovechild, though XD

Sora _is_ kind of a great big loser. He's younger than a lot of Square's other great big losers, though, so it can be forgiven ^^

FMA <3 Al is the cutest hunk of junk around.

Burn Victim Cloud; sounds like a very estranged addition to the Barbie line. (They actually make a Burn Victim Anakin doll via Star Wars... it's disturbing and crispy.) Oooh yes. XD Riku is definitely what happened when Seph and Cloud had too much time on their hands during the making of FF8.

But if he grows up to be *not* a giant loser... that would be sad.

His hair, like his shoes, is also a weapon.

...That _does_ sound disturbing o.0 (makes me kinda want to see it, actually >.>). And yeah, Riku totally has Cloud's wierd pointiness with Sephiroth's wierd color. Although, that means Sora/Riku is vaguely incestuous.

A tad more painful though, I'd wager. Might also muss his style. He'd need to use Kwik-Seal... on his head.

If it's lillies, it had better be death lillies. He's got a reputation to uphold here. (And I can totally see like, part of his Magic Cape of Doom(tm) breaking off or something, and then there's a tiny little Vincent clone or something. Or Sora, I guess, if his mind is fixated on Cloud or something XD)

Well, white lillies maybe; the scent of fresh graveyard flowers. He does have that nifty coffin bed thing going on. (XD Ah. So his cape is how he spawns! So... then if Sora is VincentxCloud... Cloud + Doom Cape = OTP? <_<)

...I bet I could find a scent like that on BPAL. (Hey! Maybe this means Vincent isn't dead in KH. Just in Cape Mode and wrapped around Cloud. Bet he likes that XD)

...I bet he owns that sight, after having sold off the rights to Hot Topic to the GAP. (Cloud is popular in KH. He gets snuggled by Vincent-spawn, contractually owned by Sephiroth, and heck, even Hades is interested. ...It's probably all because of the size of buster sword. And by that of course I mean, anyone who has arm muscles enough to lug that thing around must be a physically fit individual.)

Well, they do have some guy working for them named Vlad, apparently. (*cough* I'll bet. And Zack would so be all over that, too, if he wasn't, y'know, dead and all. Not that being dead seems to make much difference to other people in the FF7 universe)

And Zack is only half-dead; his ghost still watches over Cloud. On the field of battle. During his daily angst sessions. So why not in the shower, too?)

Possibly, yes. He's got _something_ invested in the venture XD (Well, Hojo's soul got eaten by Sephiroth - no, I am entirely not kidding - and I don't count Aeris because she may be dead, but she still comes back and screws around with everything _anyway_. And I bet Zack totally _does_ watch him in the shower. Perv.)
