I have a new copy of Good Omens and some new Fruits Basket, and somehow this doesn't cheer me up at all -.-

I'll do X cosplay with them if they want me to, sure. I don't mind doing cosplay groups with Mara, but I don't know what I'm going to have time for this upcoming year with the plans I have already.

I'm definitely not going to have time for Cloud, sorry.

Well, it's kind of hard to have a group where two members won't speak to each other. And this means we're not doing KKM or Cain, or any other X/TB stuff? Or you're not, at any rate.

*shrug* Your loss, I guess - this will probably be my last masquerade in the area, unless I get into MIT, which is unlikely. I would have liked to share it with you, but if you've got all sorts of other plans you haven't bothered to share with the rest of us, so be it.

Well, if you'd like to do Cain, I'd suggest actually trying to work things out with Mara. Because there's not much point to a cosplay group if we're all going to sit around not speaking to each other.

Okay, I will say that I'd be happy to do a masquerade with you, but I don't have the time, money or inclination to do Cloud.

I'd be more than happy to help with the armor and such, which are pretty much the only time-consuming bits of Cloud, aside from the wig. If you'd like to do someone else from FF7, you can, but I really would have liked you as my Cloud.

For AB? I don't know. I would like to work on other projects with you, say, our swords for KKM if we do that, but I don't know if I have the money to take on another costume.

I'd be more inclined to cosplay someone who hasn't already been done to death, anyway. Or who, um, actually has a personality.

Well, Chris and I have wanted to do Folken and Dilandau from Escaflowne for a while. And I need to make huge black wings for Chris/Mel (for Devil's Trill). (I'm making them because I want to keep them XD)

Okay, let's see.

Pros:
1) Spending time with Cocoa. (Only counts as a pro if she doesn't decide to spend the whole time ignoring/yelling at me.)

Cons:
1) I don't really like the character.
2) Costly; requires armor and its own wig.
3) Time-consuming.
4) I could enter another costume in the Masquerade instead.
5) Not an attractive costume.
6) Overdone.
7) Requires lugging around huge sword.

Well, you seemed to be perfectly happy with the idea at first. And #4 doesn't really count unless you had some other undisclosed plan for another FF7, because there is a difference between entering the masquerade, and entering with masquerade with _me_.
